Rough 1st Half Sinks Rams Against Shore

Thursday night, the Rams went up against the Blue Devils of Shore Regional High and just couldn’t seem to get it going. After a barrage of costly turnovers and fouls, combined with the Blue Devils’ up-tempo style of play, the Rams found themselves down by 11 after 1 and down by 19 at the break.

From then on, it was just a downward spiral that the Rams just couldn’t recover from, no matter how hard they tried. Hightstown was looking to bounce back after a tough loss at the hands of Hopewell Valley Central in their last outing.

This one didn’t go as they had hoped as they went up against a Shore Regional team that was desperate to stay above .500 after suffering a double-digit loss of their own.
Despite finding better shots and taking better care of the ball in the 2nd half, the Rams still couldn’t stay out of the way of fouls and that cost them as they fell 47-25 at the hands of the Blue Devils, dropping to 7-5 on the season.

The Rams will look to rebound Friday as they wrap up their 4-game homestand against Hamilton West.
